A pair of Georgia eighth graders this week copped to public indecency charges after they engaged in oral sex while a substitute teacher was helping other students at the front of the classroom. The incident, which occurred earlier this month at a public middle school, initially went undetected since 'several students were sitting to block the view of the teacher while the incident occurred'.

According to a Warner Robins Police Department report, a male student asked a female classmate to perform the sex act, and the girl agreed. With her view obstructed, the substitute was unaware of the underage sex occurring a few rows away. As a result, the educator has been bounced from the county's list of approved substitute teachers. However, fellow classmates observed the December 4 encounter and reported it to a Warner Robins Middle School administrator. Though none of the students apparently clued in the substitute teacher about the sex act as it was happening during fourth period.

During a Houston County Juvenile Court hearing this week, the students--whose names are confidential due to their ages--admitted to public indecency and disrupting a public school. As part of the plea, sodomy charges against both students were dropped, and a probation violation count leveled against the boy was dismissed. After being held at a youth detention facility, the girl was released to her parents' custody. The boy, however, remains locked up, according to a law enforcement official.

Parents, you have got to do better with hiding your porn stash away from your children. Stop relying on the school system in raising your children as part of educating them when you should have been better parents your damn self; especially when you want to 'bring the thunder' to the school system when your child is reprimanded for such lascivious behavior -- let alone any other kind. Where the fuck you think they learn this shit?

@ I'm A Beast ~ I will take it that you meant when God and prayer was taken out of the schools in this case. I do agree with you because before I was promoted to the 4th grade, prayer and even a mention of God or Christ was omitted before starting the school day. Needless mention before the start of any high school sports game -- and it was customary to begin the school day and game with prayer followed up with the Pledge of Allegiance. Attitudes changed greatly then. The crimes on school campuses began and increased just as much as they did at any school function.

@swordforaflower ~ I'm not sure that I follow you on what is not that big of a deal because I find the entire incident disturbing. I wish that you had time to go into a little more detail with your view. Perhaps on a future post that may strike your interest?

@LHHW ~ I see where you are coming from but often times, when school personnel do their jobs and inform all parents of their children's disruption in class or on the premises, SOME parents have a tendency to want to attack the personnel for 'not doing their jobs'. Therefore, authorities either have to be or are involved to diffuse parent - teacher altercations in matters like this or similar to. I saw the use of the authorities in this case as a necessary procedure in addition to learning the children a very valuable lesson.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

A child's upbringing and understanding of right and wrong are heavily influenced by their home environment. Whatever parents leave about the home in complete access for their children should be taken into strong consideration just as much as how the parents conduct themselves before their children because children do replicate all that they see and hear from their parents in belief that they know right from wrong. That same behavior is brought to school. Trust me, I have seen it when I was in the fourth grade years ago when a female classmate of mine was sucking on a hot link like it was a penis. I was thinking to myself where did she learn this as it was foreign to me as a fourth grader. I'm with I'm A Beast with not being surprised at what goes on at school anymore and maybe the school did the right thing by getting the police involved. I know that I would have especially how parents are nowadays. Parents now are completely oblivious to a lot of what their children know and how they came to know it is right under their noses. Parents have got to be more careful and their negative attitudes should not be focused so much on the school system as much as it should be on themselves. A child's ability to learn starts at home no matter what the case.
